Brigade Bookkeeping was recently recognized as one of the “Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America” by Entrepreneur magazine’s Entrepreneur360™ List, a premier study delivering the most comprehensive analysis of private companies in America. Based on this study forged by Entrepreneur, Brigade Bookkeeping is recognized as a well-rounded company that has mastered a balance of impact, innovation, growth leadership and value.
“Our annual evaluation of vetted data offers a 360-degree analysis of top privately-held companies across a multitude of industries,” explained Jason Feifer, editor in chief of Entrepreneur Magazine. “They are deemed successful not only by revenue numbers, but by how well-rounded they are. The companies that make the list have pushed boundaries with their innovative ideas, fostered strong company cultures, impacted their communities for the better, and increased their brand awareness.”
President and Founder Elizabeth Manso reacted to the news, “Yes, I couldn’t believe it, as it was our first time applying, and to be ranked top 50% was even more unbelievable to me. Next year, I’m shooting for top 25%!!” she said.
Manso expressed praise and gratitude for the people and organizations who support the company and helped Brigade Bookkeeping evolve into the firm it is today, “I would like to thank the South Florida Entrepreneurs’ Organization – Accelerator Program, first and foremost. I’ve been part of this amazing organization for four years and has really helped me structure my company, along with other small businesses, in a way where it is now a thriving operation. Secondly, I’d like to thank my “corporate culture” coach, Ianna Raim. She is the integral piece to my organization has helped me shape my team and provided us a roadmap to have a strong corporate culture…as the old saying goes, ‘culture eats strategy for breakfast.’”
Honorees were identified based on the results from a comprehensive study of independently owned companies, using a proprietary algorithm and other advanced analytics. The algorithm was built on a balanced scorecard designed to measure five metrics reflecting major pillars of entrepreneurship—innovation, growth, leadership, impact and business valuation.

Manso added, “After 10 years in existence, my ‘2nd child,’ is finally getting recognized by others as the thriving, amazing place of business that my team and I have known it has been for a while, and that makes us all very proud to say that we’re a part of this wonderful, thriving organization, and continued success is upon us.”
