If you have a growing business, then you know hiring good employees enhances customer service and creates high morale within your team. No matter if you have a sales-based business or provide a service, hiring the right person to represent you and your business is a must.
I have to say, I am so lucky to have so many wonderful employees who are not only smart, but bring a smile to many faces every day. This month, I wanted to introduce you to a very important member of my team, Kat Hernandez, who is our Client Relationship Coordinator.
Kat calls South Florida home now. She was born in Honduras and raised in Miami. She started with Brigade Bookkeeping almost a year ago, in July 2014, as an Accounting Intern. She did such a great job that we hired her as an Accounting Assistant, specializing in Payroll Processing. Now she’s moved on to bigger and better things!
Kat is now our Client Relationship Coordinator. What does that mean you ask? Kat not only performs accounting duties, but she also represents Brigade Bookkeeping and our company at many networking events.
She is a member of a weekly networking group called Business Networking International (BNI) and is a member of the BNI Collaboration Chapter that meets once a week at the Alexander Hotel on Miami Beach. She is their chapter’s Educational Coordinator, which means she gives a short presentation every week about different topics to help business owners.
As Client Relationship Coordinator, Kat also visits our existing clients and vendors and presents ways they can improve their operations or refer bookkeeping business.
Kat is currently pursuing a degree in Accounting at Florida International University. She is expected to graduate in 2017.
During her down time, she enjoys dancing, playing volleyball, and going to the beach as much as possible. She is also a devoted mother to her six-year-old boxer and bulldog mix named Ali. Check out his picture. He’s adorable!
Kat Hernandez is a valuable member of the Brigade Bookkeeping family. We love having her here! So, the next time you see her networking around town, be sure to say hi!
